Guest Reviews & Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast was great. I highly recommend it. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere with a large jigsaw puzzle on the table, thick carpets, and tasteful decorations. The bed was very cozy, and I enjoyed the wonderful coffee and breakfast. The complimentary sodas, bottled waters, and yummy cupcakes in the dining room were a nice touch.
My stay at this hotel was delightful. The room was very pretty, romantic, and spacious, with neat and clean interiors. The staff was super sweet and friendly, going above and beyond to make our long stay comfortable, even offering us the guest cottage to cook meals for our baby. The location was perfect, just a minute's walk from the beautiful Neuse River in Historic New Bern, allowing easy access to downtown attractions. The dining experience was amazing, serving excellent food, albeit a bit on the sweet side. Overall, a wonderful experience with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers a charming, romantic, and spacious ambiance with complimentary sodas, bottled waters, and delicious cupcakes in the dining room. The Bavarian room upstairs was occupied upon our arrival, giving us a choice to opt for a different room on the first floor or head to the second floor for a king size bed. The service provided was exceptionally friendly, and the delicious breakfast was a highlight. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to various attractions in downtown New Bern while being just across the beautiful Neuse River. The dining experience was superb, offering fresh and local products. A couple of downsides were identified, with some room availability hiccups and the need for minor improvements in some areas of service.
